About Me

[Hand-carved moon and stars, 1992] * Hi! I'm a stamper from Seattle, Washington, USA. I used to do a lot of art stamping in the late 80s/early 90s, and even had some of my artworks sold in a Pioneer Square art gallery. Eventually, though, I got tired of stamping and moved on to other things, though I occasionally used rubber stamps in my prints and paintings and even in my wedding invitations!

In 1994 I started compiling a rubber stamp links page, but after mid-1995 I stopped maintaining that page, though it stayed online until early 1998.

A stuffed version of our "litldevl" mascot, found at Michael's for only 50 cents!

Eventually I found myself drawn back to stamping again, and I thought it might be fun to try to make some money from stamping. (I made money selling cards and other artworks before, but never very much. :) So I signed up to be a demonstrator for a rubber stamp company. That was fun, but I soon decided I wanted more -- so I started my own stamp company.

The Rubber Trouble web page was originally created to help me promote my demonstrator business, and to let me use my HTML skills in a stamping-related way. Now the site serves as a general rubber-stamping resource, and a place for me to advertise my stamp company. I'm really enjoying it, and I hope the site works for you.
